This June 1950 aerial shot gives a good view of the dark bulk of the Morley Street Picture House abutting the rear of the stage end of the white Alhambra theatre. The huge scale of the New Victoria/Gaumont dwarfs the other two venues.
The Morley Street entrance to the picture house, captured here, was a very dull face to the pavement. The Great Horton road entrance, at the other side of the building, was even duller.
