According to a front page advertisement published by The Kung Sheung Daily News on 7th February, 1937, the Tai Ping Theatre at Fatshan was in business. Fatshan is a district to the west of Canton. Tai Ping is the Cantonese pronunciation of its Chinese name,literally meaning “peace all over the world”. The exact English name of the theatre if any is unavailable. Its opening and closing date, exact address and number of seats is pending further research.
