The Satellite Theatre opened as a single screen on September 8, 1965 with Burt Lancaster in “The Train”. On June 3, 1977 it was twinned. Operated by Dickinson Theatres. It was taken over in 2015 by the independent Satellite Cinemas chain. It was closed on May 9, 2019.

Newly renovated theater showing first runs, great theater for the local community
June 3rd, 1977 grand opening ad as a twin cinema can be found in the photo section. It opened before 1967 with one screen.
