Located in the centre of Athens. The building was originally built in 1895 as the Royal horse stables. In the 1950’s it was converted into a live theatre, considered at that time one of the most important theatres in Athens.

It was refurbished in 1990 and at that time the lower part of the building was converted into the Cine Ideal. Today, the Cine Ideal is one of the classic single screen cinemas of the city. The upper part of the building is vacant and unused.
