Granada Studio Movie Grill

Located in a shopping strip at Belt Line Road and Prestonwood Boulevard in the Addison district to the far north of Dallas. The UA Prestonwood 5 was opened in summer of 1980. Each auditorium was named after an old Dallas movie theatre i.e. Palace, Majestic, Capitol etc. with the names on a small marquee over each auditorium entrance. In November 1998 it became the Granada Studio Movie Grill. It was closed on August 26, 2010 and sat unused until it was demolished in April 2012.

The 11-screen Look Cinemas was built on the site, opening in 2013 and closing in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

Update! Sad to say that at this time, the Granada Studio Movie Grill is in the process of being demolished.
