Located in the Coburg district of Melbourne. The Grand Theatre was opened 1922. It became part of the Hoyts Theatres chain.

The Grand Theatre was closed in 1964 and it became a ten-pin bowling alley. The facade has been covered with metal sheeting, and it operated since at least 2004 as a theatre club & restaurant. By 2009, it had become the Vizzini Social Club.

After the theatre closed it became the Coburg Tenpin Bowl which was active until the late 1970’s. The Vizzini Social Club has been active there since the early 1980’s on the upper floors, though it only took over the whole building much later. At one point, the ground floor of the premises contained Omega Receptions which was used for wedding receptions and dinner dances.
