Greene County Drive-in

Originally named the Linton Drive-in when it opened on June 10, 1949 with Doris Day in “Romance on the High Seas”. The theater closed in 1999 as the Greene County Drive-in. Though essentially demolished, the dilapidated screen tower and its decayed outdoor marquee were still standing in 2012.

The address above is incorrect. This is drive with screen still intact is next door and to the west of Pizza Hut 9610 IN-54, Linton, IN 47441. This is also across the highway from the Elks Lodge and the Phil Harris Golf Course.
