The most dominant building in the tiny town of only 1300 people is the “Roxy” complex.

The building houses a tourism information office, the “Roxy” Theatre, “Peters & Co”, a classic Australian / Greek cafe, fitted out as it might have been mid 20th century, including original chairs and booths plus authentic fixtures and fittings gathered from other cafes of the era.

Upstairs, along the northern side of the building, is a small conference space and rooms for a museum honoring Greek immigrants to Australia, many of them establishing cafes and cinemas like the “Roxy” in rural areas.
