Famous Players opened the Silver City Polo Park in 1999. The theatre features Tech Town Arcade, stadium seating, digital projection & sound, branded concession stand, 3D and first run attractions. This is the largest theatre in Manitoba.

In 2005 Cineplex took over the theatre. In July of 2011 an IMAX was opened, and in 2012 all new seating went in the theatre. Seating ranges from 159 in the smallest auditorium to 365 in the largest.

Does this have any historical connection with the Cinema Polo Park, whose single-screen auditorium was an expansion of a twin called the Pace? 1969 report here: Boxoffice

Tinsesltoes, that is the Polo Park that was located at 1486 Portage. The Polo Park is not listed on CT. If I can find enough info I will submit it.
