Located on U.S. Route 51, about 7-miles south of Janesville. The Mid-City Drive-In was opened prior to 1955, when it was operated by Standard Theatres Management Corporation of Milwaukee.

Later known as the Mid-City Outdoor Theatre, it was still open in 1966.

I’m not sure which city can clam the Mid-City Outdoor Theater. It was located in-between Beloit and Janesville.
