The Majestic Theatre was a substantial neighborhood house south of downtown Lima. It was designed by one of the city’s leading architects of the period, J.A. Chapin, and was built for Miner C. Crossley, a businessman and developer.

The Majestic Theatre operated successfully at least into the late-1950’s. Despite attempts to rehabilitate the building for use as a community theater after it closed, the Majestic Theatre fell into disrepair and was demolished in 2005.
