Located in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire on former derelict land in the town centre’s new East Gate centre, which includes retail, a Travelodge Hotel, and a new 550-seat live theatre. The Odeon opened on 12th October 2012, and is an all digital cinema, equipped for 3D presentations. Seating capacities in the screens are for; 235, 158, 85, 76, 58.
The original 1938-built Odeon Theatre, later Classic Cinema and finally Theatr Elli, was closed on 13th July 2012, in anticipation of this new Odeon multiplex opening.
