Located to the south of Lankenheath, Suffolk. The RAF Lakenheath base was built in 1941 as a decoy air force base to the nearby RAF Mildenhall. In late-1941, it became fully operational by the Royal Air Force. In November 1948, it was transferred over to the United States Air Force, who continue to use the base in 2012.

The theater is in Building 695, near the Burger King restaurant, and was opened around 1960. Films are screened every night of the week at 19:00, plus on Friday and Saturday at 23:00, and on Sunday at 15:30.
