Oshawa Drive-In

The Oshawa Drive-In was a great place, and was located at the intersection of Thornton Road S and Champlain Avenue. It had opened by 1950. A new concave screen was added in the early-1970’s after the old one blew down. They used to have still pictures of the current movies outside the box office. It was closed in the late-1980’s.

This drive-in must have opened by 1950.

Boxoffice, Dec. 16, 1950: “Jack Marion, in charge of the Oshawa Drive-In last season, has been installed as manager of the Columbia at St. Thomas”
