A neighborhood second-run theater in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. The theater was built as part of the Lane Shopping Center in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The theater opened in December of 1948. The Lane Theater closed during September, 1958 because of the demand for retail store space in the shopping center. It was part of the Academy Theatre chain.
