Located in the Beeston Hill district to the south of Leeds. The Malvern Picture Palace was opened on 23rd December 1912. In around 1930 it was equipped with an RCA sound system.
Always independently operated, by the same owners of the Lounge Cinema, the Malvern Picture Palace was closed on 26th August 1971 with “Carry On Sargeant” and “Carry On Teacher”.
It was later demolished and housing was built on the site.
