A neighborhood first-run theatre on the southside of Columbus, Ohio. In the later years, it became a second-run theatre. It opened as a Loews theatre on December 16, 1977. The theatre became a Sony when the corporation acquired Loews. The Sony Southland Theatre closed April 9, 1995. It reopened as the Circle Cinema Southland Mall in February 1997. Later, it reopened as the Southland Mall Theatre on August 1, 1998. The theater closed in August of 1999.
Today, it is part of the corporate headquarters of the Bob Evans restaurants and breakfast food products company.

1 large room and 2 smaller ones. No stereo equipment was installed during the Loews/Sony years…can not confirm anything after that. Nice theatre but did not do a great business.
