Located in Skelmerdale, Lancashire. The Empire Cinema was operating prior to 1932. It had a 32 feet wide proscenium, and was equipped with a British Thomson Houston(BTH) sound system.

The Empire Cinema was still open in 1966, but had closed by 1980.
