McKinley Theatre

Small theatre that was demolished for a highway extension. The McKinley Theatre was opened in 1935 and was listed as an African American theatre. It continued in this use until closing in 1958.

Any further information on this theatre would be appreciated.

The McKinley Theater was built by Joseph Barcelona in 1935 for the African-American community. Barcelona sold the theater in 1937. The theater closed in 1958.
