The opening of this cinema in 2013 caused the Famous Players Lambton 9 to close. Cineplex’s Galaxy Cinemas Sarnia is a state of the art eight-screen cinema equipped with an UltraAVX auditorium. UltraAVX auditoriums offer a fully immersive cinema experience, complete with wall-to-wall screens, Dolby® Atmos surround sound and upgraded seats that guests can reserve in advance. The theatre will be one of the first in Canada to feature this advanced surround sound offering. It has all digital projection and all screens are 3D capable.

While this cinema uses the Lambton Mall’s street address of London Road, it stands where the former Canadian Tire store used to be on the southeast corner of Lambton Mall Road and Exmouth Street.
