Located in Gun Barrel City, beside Cedar Creek Lake. The Moviestar Cinema was opened in 2009 in the Heritage Cove development. It was operated by Select Cinemas of Tulsa, OK.
Although it was a successful cinema, problems arose between the owners of Heritage Cove and the theatre operators, and it was closed on July 31, 2013. It had reopened by summer of 2015 as Hometown Cinemas.

Since mid-2014 this is known as Hometown Cinemas and now open for business.
