The “Theater Changes” section of The Film Daily for October 4, 1937, lists a Nashville Theatre at Nasheville, NC, as a new theater. Possibly it was this house.

The only movie theater mentioned in this walking tour of Nashville’s historic district was at 213 West Washington Street. The brochure says that it was called the Myers Theatre and operated from the 1940s to the 1960s.

Most of East Washington Street looks to be either residential, institutional, or to have been redeveloped with modern buildings. There’s nothing there that looks like an old theater building. If the Nash Theatre was on East Washington then it’s probably been demolished.
