The Dunbar Theatre was a silent movie theatre, which was operated around 1913 until at least 1926. It was located at Oak Street at Anderson Avenue.

Housed on the second floor of a general store near the Moore Cotton Mills, the Dunbar Theatre operated an ‘All Black’ policy. It was named after Paul Dunbar, the noted black poet.
