The Strand Theatre opened on June 6, 1921. An article about the theatre opening published in the Hudson Valley Times, gives the architects names as Wetmore and Crandell of Glens Falls, NY. This theatre had a relatively short life. The Strand Theatre was destroyed by a fire in January of 1925.
