Located in Horley, Sussex, not far from today’s Gatwick Airport. The Pavilion Cinema was opened around 1919 and was operated by Mrs. F. Farmer. It was taken over by the Shipman & King circuit and they operated it until 1925, when they took over and modernised the former Electric Cinema on Massetts Road, which re-opened as the New Pavilion Cinema.
