I went on this tour in 1983. The last film I saw at the 4th Avenue was “Ghostbusters”. Unfortunately the theater was later turned into a gift shop/tourist information centre. I believe special events were also scheduled at the theater. To knock down this theater would be a sin. This theater was the last theater in the United States to be built in the Art Deco Style.
