Located in Langley Mill, to the east of Heanor, Derbyshire. The Ritz Cinema was opened prior to 1940, when it was operated by the Nottingham based S. Graham Circuit. It had a 20 feet wide proscenium and was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system.
The Ritz Cinema was closed in 1957. Today the building is occupied by E. Slater (Glass) who manufacture aluminium doors and windows.
