The Library Theatre opened in 1914 and was closed by 1941. Still closed in 1943, it later reopened as the Europa Theatre and finally operated as the Art Theatre. It seated 367. The site is now a vacant lot.

This must be the Art Theatre that an item in Boxoffice of December 15, 1951, reported was one of five Detroit area houses being dismantled.
