Sorry ‘bout this, but I’ve a strong feeling the 'status’ of the PALACE is now squarely under the heading of DEMOLISHED.

Someone (besides me that is) needs to travel by and conduct and official post mortem.

A Barton theater organ size 3/10 was installed in the Palace Theater in 1926.

The Palace Bowl has been sold to the town of Cicero and will demolished and rebuilt as a town health clinic.

I don’t remember the movie theatre but I do believe the facade of the subsequent “Palace Bowl” was in the movie “Uncle Buck”. I recognized it immediately!! I used to live in the neighborhood around there. Check it out next time you watch the movie.

Bryan could the address for the Palace Theatre be wrong, I show it at 5242 which would actually put it on 25th Street, the address listed above puts it on 25th Pl.
