Boxoffice, April 21, 1951: “Floyd Bailey recently purchased the Starlight Drive-In from Dave Simon and plans to open for the season on April 17. Bailey also owns the Roxy and Liberty theatres. Simon, originally from Missoula, built the theatre and opened it in 1950. He is employed by a construction company.”
Billboard, December 1981: “Jim Bailey, who operated the Roxy Theatre and the Starlite Drive In Theatre in Hamilton, Montana has sold the properties and the new owner is Keith Kehmeier. Buying and booking will be handled by Warner Marketing of Bozeman, Montana.”
More details from the July 22, 1950 issue of BoxOffice: “The new Starlite Drive-In, erected on an eight-acre tract one mile north of (Hamilton) on Route 93 recently was opened by Dave B. Simon. The open-air theatre was designed by Simon, and constructed under his supervision. It accommodates 300 cars, and its conveniences include a snack bar. Simon served in the U.S. air corps during World War II.”

The area is correct but the address is incorrect.

According to the 1978 Topographical Map, the Drive-In was located on the north side of town at what is now 139 Bitteroot Plaza Drive (Google). The area has been completely redeveloped with no trace of the drive-in left. https://goo.gl/maps/KuSSo
