A conversion of the Gleck Garage, the Belle Theatre opened February 21, 1942 with Joan Blondell in “Three Girls About Town” & Charles Starrett in “Outlaws of the Panhandle”. The theatre seated 340 and was still listed as open in 1957.

The Belle Theatre launched as a 600-seat venue on February 21, 1942 with “"Three Girls About Town” and “Outlaws of the Panhandle.” The converted Gleck Garage was equipped with Simplex projection and Western Electric sound.
