The Sunset Drive In, was situated on the corner of Old Strandfontein Road and New Ottery Road in the Cape Town suburb of Ottery and opened during the mid-1950’s. It was Cape Town’s second drive-in to open. By the late-1960' Drive-Ins it had been renamed Sunset Ster Drive-In, in the late-1980’s the Sunset Ster was demolished and a brewery distribution depot was established on the site.
