This cinema was situated at 3 Malta Road at the corner of Spencer Road in the Cape Town suburb of Salt River. It opened in the mid-1920’s and the first sound film was screened here on 18th November 1930.
The Palace Cinema closed circa early-1990’s and the building now houses commercial interests.
