Located in the city centre district of Marais, which is north of the River Seine. The Beranger Cinema was opened in 1917 by M. Joret. It was designed by architects Gabriel Veissiere. In the late-1960’s or early-1970’s it was twinned, and re-named Templiers. Still open in 1985, it had closed by 1993.

It has been converted into a supermarket.
