In l969 the Enean theater was remodeled and renamed the Showcase Theatre. By the 1070’s the Showcase resorted to second run movies and then it was a dollar theatre.
In the mid 70’s, the Pussycat chain and then The Mitchell Brothers bought and turned the once romantic movie house into a Porn Theatre.
The community and the First Presbyterian Church, bought the property but because of a contract lease that could not be broken and wasn’t up until l985, nothing they could to get the Porn theater out of town.
