Cinema

Located on the corner of King Street and Greenwood Road in Pateley Bridge, a small village to the northwest of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The Cinema was opened by April 1942 when it was operated by Richard Dean (all communications to the Premier Cinema, Skipton). It was equipped with a RCA sound system, and was later operated by Yorkshire Dales Cinemas Ltd.

The Cinema was closed on 28th September 1963 with Joan Greenwood in “The Amorous Prawn”. It was last operated by G.R. Shillito. It was converted into a small live theatre, but has since been demolished.
