Picture House

Located in Market Warsop, Nottinghamshire. The Picture Palace was opened on 1st February 1913. Alterations were carried out in 1920 and it was re-named Picture House. By 1930 it had been equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. The proscenium was 20 feet wide.

Apparently the Picture House was never equipped with CinemaScope, and closed on 6th January 1958. The building was converted into a furniture store and was later destroyed by fire.
