Located in the suburb of Undercliffe, 2 miles north east of the City centre. The Oxford Hall Picture Palace opened on 9th April 1914. By 1930 a Western Electric(WE) sound system had been installed and it had been re-named Oxford Picture House.

It was re-named Oxford Cinema in 1953 and it closed on Sunday 11th September 1955 major for alterations and reopened on Monday 17th October. It had been Re-decorated, re-seated, re-heated and re-carpeted. It had a new panoramic screen, which was later adapted for CinemaScope. From December 1962 bingo was introduced three days a week. Final closure for films came on Saturday 8th January 1966 and bingo took over full time. The Oxford Bingo Club is still operating in 2015.
