Dunn Theatre

Was owned and operated by Elison Dunn (Dunn Family Theatres). It was an ‘L’ shaped theatre. The Dunn Theatre was opened in the late-1940’s. Closed in the 1970’s showing black explotation and kung fu pictures. In its last days you could only sit under the balcony section because of the threat of falling ceiling tiles. Auditorium has been completely gutted and floor leveled for storage purposes. Boxoffice and concession area has been converted to offices. The marquee was a rounded shape.
