It’s June 29, 1949 and time for the Hager Drive-In to launch with spaces for 400 cars. It’s Washington County’s second drive-in theatre along with the Hiway Open Air Drive-In Theatre. The theatre fulfills its 15 year lease with the land sold and redeveloped for other purposes. The Hager would find its new home in Hagerstown proper in 1966.
