Cummins Theatre

Located on the east side of Bates Street between Coronation Street and Mitchell Street. The Cummins Theatre opened on 4th October 1928. The first talkies were screened on 4th November 1929. Cummins Theatre closed in 1973 and reopened after being restored in 1992. Cummins Theatre closed in 1997. Cummins Theatre reopened in 2002. Cummins Theatre still shows films, but is mainly just a live theatre.

The bricks in the building came various hotels in Coolgardie, and the Seating and stage and fly tower and decking and pressed metal ceiling came from the Tivoli Theatre in Coolgardie.
