A 1960’s shot of the Capitol’s marquee. Closed by Famous Players in the late 1980s, the marquee was removed when the theatre was converted into an arts centre. Only the auditorium remains of the original theatre design, stripped of some of its decor but restored for live performances and the occasional film presentation on a Sunday evening.
