Alfa Cinema

This was the biggest cinema in suburb Uccle. It opened in 1937 under the direction of family Adriannsen. In the 1950’s it was equiped in CinemaScope and stereophonic sound Perfecta. “The Bridge on the River Kwai” was shown there in early 1959. It had two programmes a week and closed in 1965.
