The Paradise Theatre was opened in 1914 with 435 seats. Alterations were made in November 1917 to the plans of architectural firm Gerisburg & Farbstein. In November 1918 the interior was renovated to the plans of architect Abraham Farber.
It was renamed New Prospect Theatre in 1926 and operated until closing on April 29, 1930. It reopened September 27, 1931 but closed January 25, 1932.
