Located in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire, near to Stockport and today within Greater Manchester. The Cheadle Hulme Cinema was opened on 25th October 1922, with public shows beginning on 28th October 1922 screening “Midsummer Madness”. It was a basic wood and corrugated iron structure.
The Cheadle Hulme Cinema closed as a silent cinema in November 1930 soon after the new Elysian Cinema in town opened.
