The Point Nasa Cinema 6 was opened by General Cinema on August 29, 1986. Later taken over by Star Cinema Gill on April 8, 2005, they closed this location on November 29, 2015, and moved to its new location at Baybrook Mall in Friendswood, barely two miles away. It was reopened July 7, 2017 as District Theatres. It was closed permanently in 2021.

This was originally the General Cinema Point Nasa Cinema 6, opened 8/29/1986.

As per their website districttheatres.com this cinema has closed permanently.
