Located in the north of the city centre, beside the entrance to the Strasbourg-Saint Denis metro station. Originally opened in 1896 as operating as a museum, the Cinematographe-Theatre Bonne Nouvelle was opened in June 1904. It was re-named Cinema de la Porte Saint-Denis in 1911.

By 1955 it had been re-named Strasbourg and specialized in Westerns. In 1972 it became an adult pornographic cinema. The Strasbourg closed 31st December 1994 when is suffered damage from a fire. It became a sex shop with cabins.

By 2015 it had become a Naturalia food store and by 2018 was a Camayeu clothing store.
