Cameo Theatre

I believe this photo is of the Cameo at 934 Market St.in downtown San Francisco. It was last known as the Esquire and was torn down in 1972. It was known as the Cameo from 1923 to 1929. The Cameo referenced above was in the Mission District and was enclosed in a multi-storied building, which still stands. It was known as the Cameo from 1931 to 1952. (dates courtesy of Jack Tillmany)
