The East 30 Drive-In was opened prior to 1952 when it was operated by Carl H. Schwyn. By 1955 it was operated by Brailey-Browning Inc. and United Booking Services.

This drive in was hard to find. It actually was on highway 27, north of the old highway 30 now highway 37.

The address for this drive in is now 4740 Lima Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Don Ayres Toyota now sits on the property.

The first appearance of the East 30 in the Film Daily Year Book was the 1951 edition, which implies a 1950 opening.
