Cinema Corso

Located in the historic walled centre of Prato, in the Tuscany region of northern Italy, it is not known when the Cinema Corso opened. It was a single screen cinema, with circle and stalls. There was evidently a very modest street entrance, with a narrow foyer passage leading to the auditorium.

The Cinema Corso closed in 1984. The building stood empty for ten years before it was converted into a bookshop. The building is in immaculate condition, with bookshelves lining the former circle area.
